Four suspected drug traffickers have been arrested at the Lunga Lunga border crossing while attempting to smuggle narcotic drugs into the country. The four were arrested by officers attached to the KRA Customs and Border Control Division on Sunday night. KRA Customs and Border Control commissioner Julius Musyoki said one suspect tried to hide the narcotics strategically under his big belly. The four are reportedly members of a wider drug trafficking cartel that has been smuggling narcotics concealed as food spices. The four have been transferred to Mombasa, where they are expected to face drug trafficking charges.
