Hundreds of passengers were on Monday stranded at JKIA after Kenya Airways crew members failed to report to work. Passengers heading to various destinations arrived as early as 3am and while they were checking in, an announcement was made that several flights had been delayed. Some passengers say they were left stranded at the JKIA until around 10am before being transferred to hotels in the city. On reaching KQ's management for comment, the receptionists said the captain on duty and his crew failed to show up. one passenger asked.
