more-inThe Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) has, for the first time, selected Mangaluru as one among the centres for its preliminary examination to select candidates for the posts of gazetted probationary officers. Earlier, candidates from Dakshina Kannada and Udupi had to go to Shivamogga, Bengaluru, Mysuru, Belagavi or Kalaburagi for the examination. The examination will be conducted on Sunday in 12 centres in the city. The exam would be conducted in the forenoon and afternoon, a press release said. Group A officials have been appointed as observers and Group B officials would be the route officials.
