He was presiding over a meeting to finalise the media strategy for the province after the integration of the newly merged districts into KP. The meeting discussed the overall media strategy after the merger of the newly merged districts of erstwhile FATA and made a number of decisions in this regard. The KP CM said that a comprehensive developmental mainstreaming and integration plan has been finalised for the benefit of the people. “Hopefully, our efforts would not only lead to the mainstreaming and integration of the people and areas of the newly merged districts but would also open these areas for development projects,” he added. The KP CM also directed the information department to be ready for challenging responsibilities in the future on the merger’s completion.
