Share:Peshawar - Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan on Tuesday directed the police and other law enforcing agencies to pay special attention to incidents of crimes besides incidents of terrorism in the province. The meeting deliberated upon various matters related to law and order situation and reviewed implementation status of the decisions taken in the last meeting to this effect. The meeting was also attended by KP Chief Secretary Dr Kazim Niaz, Inspector General Police Muazzam Jah Ansari, divisional commissioners, regional police officers (RPOs) and high ups of other law enforcing agencies. The Chief Minister termed the law and order as the foremost responsibility of the government and said the provincial government would ensure steps beyond its capacity and utilise resources to maintain law and order situation in the province. He said the government would provide all required resources on priority basis to strengthen police and other law enforcing agencies to enable them effectively cope with all challenges.
