KOICA, EAPD partner to foster sustainable development in Africa


The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), South Korea’s official development assistance agency, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Egyptian Agency of Partnership for Development (EAPD) to implement joint activities and initiatives on development cooperation in third countries to eliminate poverty and achieve sustainable development. The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and the Egyptian Agency of Partnership for Development (EAPD) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to implement joint development cooperation activities in third countries, with a focus on Africa. “KOICA is actively working to promote triangular cooperation in the development sector,” said President Sam. KOICA, a government agency under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is responsible for implementing grant aid programs to combat poverty and support sustainable socio-economic growth in partner countries worldwide. The EAPD is an Egyptian agency that promotes South-South cooperation and development partnerships.
