KUALA LUMPUR (April 12): The FBM KLCI is expected to remain lacklustre today in line with the tepid overnight sentiment at most global markets, as geopolitical jitters appear to be gaining traction. AllianceDBS Research said market participants played a selling game on April 11. “This low volatility market environment had reduced the profit zone expectation. “As such, the FBM KLCI would likely trade below the 1,733.79 level on April 12,” said AllianceDBS Research. Based on corporate announcements and news flow yesterday, companies that might be in focus today include the following: Ahmad Zaki Resources Bhd, Protasco Bhd, Tenaga Nasional Bhd, Thriven Global Bhd, Mulpha International Bhd, Vsolar Group Bhd, mTouche Technology Bhd, Globetronics Technology Bhd, PUC Founder (MSC) Bhd and Ire-Tex Corp Bhd.
