KUALA LUMPUR (March 13): The FBM KLCI reversed its earlier loss and ticked up at mid-morning to notch some gains, albeit limited. At 9.55am, the FBM KLCI rose 1.81 points to 1,719.39. The top gainers included Iskandar Waterfront City Bhd, Bursa Malaysia Bhd, Teck Guan Perdana Bhd, Knusford Holdings Bhd, Malaysian Paficic Industries Bhd, Hong Leong Financial Group Bhd, UMW Holdings Bhd, Pos Malaysia Bhd, Felda Global Ventures Holdings Bhd and Petronas Dagangan Bhd. The actives included Iskandar Waterfront, Priceworth International Bhd, Benalec Holdings Bhd, Borneo Oil Bhd, Ekovest Bhd, Trive Property Group Bhd, Hibiscus Petroleum Bhd, Minetec Resources Bhd and Dagang NeXChange Bhd. “Meanwhile, share prices on Bursa Malaysia may be due for a short term consolidation as the FBM KLCI is trading near the resistance level of 1,720.
