KUALA LUMPUR (April 10): The FBM KLCI retreated in early trade in line with the nervous regional markets. At 9.10am, the FBM KLCI dipped 1.29 points to 1,740.43. The top losers included Petronas Dagangan Bhd, Pentamaster Corporation Bhd, Perusahaan Sadur Timah Malaysia (Perstima) Bhd, Public Bank Bhd, Maxis Bhd, Amway (M) Holdings Bhd, Pos Malaysia Bhd and Tan Chong Motor Holdings Bhd. “On the local market, the FBM KLCI added 2.16 points to 1741.72 points after a last minute surge. “Following the lacklustre performance in the US and Europe, the FBM KLCI could remain sideways above its support of 1730 points,” it said.
