KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 11): The FBM KLCI drifted lower in early trade today, weighed by select blue chips, against the backdrop of mixed regional markets. At 9.07am, the FBM KLCI shed 0.04 points to 1,665.28. The early decliners included Fraser & Neave Holdings Bhd, British American Tobacco (M) Bhd, Concrete Engineering Products Bhd, MISC Bhd, Petronas Dagangan Bhd, Hong Leong Bank Bhd, Genting Bhd, PPB Group Bhd and Hap Seng Consolidatd Bhd. “On the local market, the FBM KLCI ended flat after losing 0.06 points to 1665.32 points. “Following the bullish performance in the US and Europe, the FBM KLCI is expected to rise today in line with higher oil prices.
