KUALA LUMPUR (Jan 31): The FBM KLCI dipped in early trade on resuming trade after the Lunar New Year holidays but sentiment remained lacklustre in line with defensive regional in what is to be a holiday-shortened trading week. At 9.12am, the FBM KLCI shed 0.12 points to 1,686.24. The top losers included KESM Industries Bhd, Petronas Gas Bhd, Dutch Lady Milk Industries Bhd, Nestle (M) Bhd, Tenaga Nasional Bhd, Sime Darby Bhd, Hong Leong Bank Bhd Bhd and CIMB Group Holdings Bhd. “On the local market, the FBM KLCI lost 5.86 points or 0.35% to 1686.36 points. “The FBM KLCI took a breather and hovered below the resistance level of 1700 points following profit taking activities,” it said.
