KUALA LUMPUR: Bursa Malaysia ended the day on a positive note, backed by gains in selected heavyweights as investors looked forward to the trade talks between the US and China.At closing, the bellwether FBM KLCI ended 4.11 points firmer at 1,787.58. The index moved between a low of 1,782.74 and a high of 1,791.14 throughout the trading session. The index opened 0.96 of-a-point higher at 1,784.43 this morning.The broader market was weak with decliners outpacing advancers. Turnover stood at 2.28 billion shares worth RM2.05bil.Dealers said continued buying in selected heavyweights pushed the key index to finish the day in positive territory. U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude futures were up eight cents at US$65.99 per barrel.
