KUALA LUMPUR: Sustained foreign fund selling pushed the FBM KLCI into the red for the fourth straight day on Thursday with Axiata, CIMB and Genting Malaysia weighing on benchmark. Foreign funds were net sellers at RM282.1mil while retail investors stepped in as net buyers at RM64.8mil and local institutions at RM217.3mil. At Bursa Malaysia, Axiata fell 14 sen to RM5.18 and wiped out 2.15 points from the KLCI. Genting Malaysia fell seven sen to RM4.93, Genting eight sen to RM8.92, Tenaga was f;at at RM14.84. As for consumer stocks, Dutch Lady lost 30 sen to RM60.20, Nestle 20 sen to RM91.50 and BAT 10 sen to RM39.50.
