KOTA KINABALU: A group of officers and staff at the police headquarters here decided to create a festive mood for their colleagues by performing a series of Christmas carols on Wednesday (Dec 19). The carollers, led by Assistant Superintendent Anselinus Marcus, performed four Christmas songs in the compound at around 2pm. Kota Kinabalu police chief Asst Comm Habibi Majinji said the carolling was part of a programme held for Christian police officers and civilian staff members to celebrate as Christmas draws near. According to ACP Habibi, the programme would be repeated in the future to strengthen the bond among members of the police force. The programme was attended by many senior policemen including Kota Kinabalu district police chief Supt George Abd Rakman, Deputy Supt Ladamah Sulaiman and Deputy Supt Yusoff Zaki Mat Yaacob.
