At least 4,109 candidates who sat for their KCSE exams in 2023 will not receive their resultsEducation Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu on Monday said that the affected candidates were suspected to have been involved in irregularities. "The results of the remaining 4,109 candidates who were suspected to have engaged in examination irregularities have been withheld pending the completion of investigations into their cases," he said. Ruto made his remarks at State Lodge Eldoret where he was briefed by CS Machogu and his team on the 2023 KCSE results. The CS was speaking in Eldoret while announcing the KCSE 2023 results. According to data from the ministry, 899,453 candidates who sat the 2023 KCSE Examination, 450,554 were male, while 448,899 were females.
