The Mwamba Cup final pitting KCB and Strathmore Leos second string squads which failed to kick off last Saturday will now be played this weekend at the Impala Club. This follows the dismissal of an appeal lodged by Homeboyz against the eligibility of some of the Strathmore Leos players and now sets the stage for the fixture on Saturday. This match will be preceded by a Nationwide semifinal encounter pitting hosts Swara against Kitale. The squad had a busy April, playing at the Hong Kong Sevens where they lost in the final to Fiji. The team then played in the Singapore Sevens where they were bundled out in the main cup quarterfinals by South Africa (24-12).
