In a statement issued by the management of the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, the institution stated that it does not detain patients under any circumstances. According to the hospital’s management, patients who remain at the facility beyond their official discharge dates due to financial challenges are adequately cared for. “Management wishes to categorically state that KATH does not detain patients under any circumstances. “KATH remains dedicated to delivering quality healthcare with compassion, professionalism, and respect for the rights and dignity of all patients,” it added.
