Both the government and the private sector should monitor developments in US trade policy this year, particularly any updates on US tariff measures, he said. "Thai exports are at a competitive disadvantage compared with India, especially as Thailand still lacks an FTA with the EU. The government needs to expedite efforts to secure trade agreements with both the EU and the US," said Mr Burin.
