Gucci has announced that Jin (Kim Seok-jin) of the K-pop boy band BTS will be joining the luxury fashion house as its global brand ambassador. Women’s Wear Daily broke the news, quoting Gucci’s creative director, Sabato De Sarno, who praised Jin’s ‘warm and kind personality’ and ‘unique style.’De Sarno added, ‘He is a generous and extraordinary artist who moves people with his music, making us even more honored to share this journey with him.’ Jin expressed his excitement, calling it ‘meaningful and thrilling to be part of such an iconic brand’ known for its ‘long-standing heritage and modernity.’Jin joins his fellow BTS members and other South Korean artists, such as NewJeans’ Hanni, Lee Jung-jae, Park Gyu-young, and Jay Park, who are also Gucci ambassadors.
