The 32-year old, who is on loan at La Liga champions Barcelona, took time off the international break to visit his former club, meeting former teammates and club officials. Boateng, who is at Barcelona on recommendation of former Las Palmas boss Qique Setien had an amazing season during his days at the Canaria Island scoring ten goals in his debut season in Spain. However, after leaving the club the team got relegated from the Spanish top flight but are currently pushing for promotion in the lower division. Boateng joined Barcelona in the winter transfer window but has struggle to break into the catalan giants first team.
