Here are some key facts related to the deal and AppDynamics founder Jyoti Bansal:■ Jyoti Bansal earned his BS degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi in 1999. ■ Greylock Partners and Lightspeed Venture Partners, two early backers, each hold 21% of AppDynamics, according to Bloomberg. Institutional Venture Partners had 8.3% of the shares and Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers held 7.1%.
