Read moreAccording to a report in The Indian Express, Jyothika has cited her disappointment with the script as the reason for walking out of the film. The film, which also stars Kajal Aggarwal, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Vadivelu and Rajendra, will be directed by Atlee, with whom the actor delivered a blockbuster, Theri, in 2016. The film was a monstrous hit, garnering approximately Rs 127 crore, the report adds. Vijay 61’s script is written by the veteran KV Vijayendra Prasad (of Baahubali and Bajrangi Bhaijaan fame) and will have music by AR Rahman.
