'Just take it and chug it': Japan's 'drinkable' chips designed to keep your phone free of greasy fingerprints

A step further than these distancing devices, One Hand Chips come pre-smashed, so you can scroll, swipe and snack without marring your touchscreen with greasy fingerprints. The company’s chip designers were apparently inspired by the experience of eating the chip shards lingering at the bottom of the bag, they told the WSJ. But in order to get around the risks of an ordinary chip bag – namely tipping the bag back and ending up with crumbs all over your face and torso – they designed the bag to prevent any spills. One Hand Chips come in potato chip and stick format in several flavours, including hot chili, super nori and salt, and barbecue. As one gamer told the WSJ, “I can just take it and chug it.” A quality we didn’t know we wanted in a solid food.
