Gavin MacMillan, 44, and Enzo DeJesus Carrasco, 34, have pleaded not guilty to charges of gang sexual assault, drugging to overpower and forcible confinement. Her identity is covered by a publication ban that is mandatory upon request for complainants in sexual assault cases. The jurors showed little reaction as they viewed the videos, described by the Crown as “difficult to watch” in parts. For just over an hour, the complainant was in the women’s bathroom inside which there is no security camera. The Crown asked the jury to pay particular attention to observing what was on the tray before and after MacMillan entered the bathroom with it.
