★★★☆☆What is it like to serve on a jury? Martin Murphy’s streaming play asks us to imagine what would happen if a dozen citizens — some more conscientious than others — were corralled on Zoom at home during lockdown and asked to reach a verdict on a case in just 45 minutes as part of an experiment to help to clear the backlog in the courts. (My experience of real-life jury service is that 45 minutes would barely give everyone enough time to decide what to order from the fizzy drinks machine.) The Park Theatre’s hour-long production, directed by Amy Allen, delivers a breezy slice of life, ably performed by members of the theatre’s scriptwriting class. They certainly have a juicy case to consider:
