Jury Acquits Man Whose Arm Was Broken by Baltimore Police

A man whose arm was broken by a Baltimore police officer during an arrest at a nightclub earlier this year has been acquitted of all charges. A judge dismissed three other charges during the trial in Baltimore Circuit Court. Police said Winston repeatedly interfered with their attempts to escort another man out of the Mosaic Nightclub and fell while in a struggle with an officer. Gordon says Winston broke his arm and was taken in handcuffs to a police station before being taken to a hospital. Police spokesman T.J. Smith said Wednesday that an internal investigation into the incident is underway.
