Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has been backed by former Reds winger Steve McManaman to ring the changes for this weekend’s FA Cup clash against Merseyside rivals Everton. The FA Cup is unlikely to be Liverpool’s main priority this season as they go in search of their first ever Premier League title. And McManaman reckons Klopp will take Sunday’s match as an opportunity to rest some first-team stars, despite it being against their local rivals. “I think it will be at the weekend [where Klopp rests players],” McManaman said on BT Sport. “I know it mightn't sit well with a lot of supporters, the fact that it is an FA Cup derby game.
