Junior doctors in England are to strike for six days from April 7 amid an ongoing row over pay and jobs. The junior doctors, now called resident doctors, are demanding a 26 per cent pay rise. 'Only the Conservatives have common sense plans to ban doctors' strikes to protect both patients and the public finances.'
