Junaid stabbing: knife recovered from pond


more-inThe police on Tuesday claimed to have recovered the knife used to murder Junaid, who was stabbed in a local train on the Delhi-Mathura route last month, at the instance of prime accused Naresh. The police told the local court here that the knife was recovered from a pond in Jatola village in Haryana’s Palwal. Shirt yet to be foundThe police also claimed to have recovered a rucksack, a pair of shoes and a gamchha. The court, meanwhile, has sent Naresh to police custody in view of the police’s plea that his blood-stained shirt was yet to be recovered, and more accused yet to be identified. Naresh will be produced before the the court on July 16.
