The alert that went out while law enforcement sought the suspect in the Independence Day parade at Highland Park, Illinois. Several nearby cities cancelled events including parades and fireworks, some of them noting that the Highland Park shooter was still at large. Robert "Bobby" Crimo III was named as a suspect in the shooting during a July 4 parade in Highland Park. On Monday evening, more than a dozen police officers surrounded a home listed as an address for Crimo in Highland Park.
