Nearly seven years after WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange sought refuge in the Ecuadoran Embassy in London, Ecuador revoked his asylum Thursday. ● London’s Metropolitan Police entered the embassy and arrested Assange “on behalf of the United States.”● Assange was found guilty in a British court of breaching bail in 2012. Outside court, one of Assange’s lawyers, Jennifer Robinson, said Assange would fight extradition to the United States. “WikiLeaks — I love WikiLeaks!” he said in October 2016 at a rally in Pennsylvania, waving a report on the latest disclosures.
