Bersamin Tuesday morning (June 11) rallied court officials and employees nationwide to keep the independence of the judiciary and maintain its role of dispensing fair and swift justice to everyone. Act 136 provided for the “Organization of Courts in the Philippine Islands” headed by the SC with trial courts in the provinces and municipalities. Bersamin thanked all justices, judges, and court personnel in supporting his four-point agenda he spelled out when he assumed the highest post in the judiciary late last year. Various activities have been lined up in today’s anniversary celebration at the SC.
