Judgment of SQ Chy’s verdict leak case on Aug 14The Judgment of a case, filed over the leakage of executed war criminal Salauddin Quader Chowdhury's draft verdict, will be delivered on August 14. The two ICT employees accused in the case and Salauddin's lawyer Fakhrul Islam were arrested in 2014.The High Court in December last year granted Islam bail in the case. The two ICT staffers had confessed to court that they were involved in the leaking of the tribunal verdict.Salauddin Quader had moved the Supreme Court challenging his death sentence. One of his counsels Md Galib Ragib claimed Hummam was whisked away from the court premises as soon as he came out of his car, according to bdnews24.com. Judge of Bangladesh Cyber Tribunal court KM Shamsul Islam on Thursday concluded the trial and said he will deliver the verdict on Aug 14.Former BNP lawmaker from Chittagong, Salauddin Chowdhury was executed in November last year for crimes against humanity during Bangladesh’s Liberation War.His wife Farhat Quader Chowdhury, son Hummam Quader Chowdhury and four other accused pleaded not guilty to the charges in court on Monday.
