Judges to rule on whether calling Rangers fans 'Huns' is a religious hate crime against Protestants


Appeal judges have been asked to deliver the final verdict on whether the word 'Hun' when used to refer to Rangers fans is a form of abuse against Protestants. However, the sheriff appeal court rejected the arguments made by Mr Di Pinto’s lawyers. She added: "It is submitted that there is some dubiety about the meaning of the word Hun. On Friday, prosecutor Alan Cameron told the appeal judges that their colleagues were not mistaken in their assessment and had made the correct decision.
