KARACHI: A local court on Wednesday granted more time to the investigation officer probing into the murder of Intizar Ahmed in the city’s posh locality of DHA. The investigation officer of the case informed the court that a new joint investigation team was inquiring into the murder case afresh. Therefore, the judges were requested to give more time for submission of charge-sheet until the probe team is able to conclude its investigation. Granting the request, the court adjourned the hearing until February 27, upon which the police is to produce all arrested suspects before the court. Eight ACLC officials have been arrested and sent to jail on judicial remand in the case while an accused has been out on bail.
