Saturday is the last day of open enrollment for individual coverage under the Affordable Care Act for health benefits that begin Jan. 1, 2019. The recent federal court decision is still moving through the courts, and the exchanges are still open for business and we will continue with open enrollment. There is no impact to current coverage or coverage in a 2019 plan. Centene had more than 1.5 million enrollees in its ACA individual plans as of the end of its third quarter. Centene is offering ACA individual coverage in 20 states for 2019, expanding into new states and in new areas where it already sells ACA-compliant individual coverage.
