Paul Manafort, a former Trump campaign chairman, was ordered to jail Friday while he awaits trial by a judge who said he couldn’t be trusted to follow the rules of the judicial system. Special counsel Robert Mueller’s office last week charged Mr. Manafort and a business associate, a 48-year-old Russian named Konstantin Kilimnik, with trying to influence the testimony of potential witnesses against the former campaign chief.
