LOS ANGELES—President Donald Trump’s personal attorney, Michael Cohen, has been granted a reprieve from facing a civil lawsuit here brought by a former adult-film actress, as he continues to battle a criminal investigation in New York. U.S. District Judge S. James Otero said Friday he will delay for 90 days a lawsuit filed by Stephanie Clifford, known professionally as Stormy Daniels, that seeks to invalidate an agreement she signed to silence her about an alleged sexual encounter with the president.
