A Jubo League activist has been hacked to death the premises of his house in Chittagong’s Mirsarai upazila. Police said the deceased Golam Mostafa, hailing from the upazila’s south Olinagar, worked at a poultry farm. Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Mahbubur Rahman said the assailants attacked Mostafa with sharp weapons and hacked him to death at the yard of his house. The attackers appeared to have been tracking Mostofa’s movements, the ASP said. Police recovered Mostofa’s body on Monday morning and sent it to Chittagong Medical College Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
