President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Jubilee party is the most preferred political party in Governor Rutto’s county, according to a poll released on Thursday.The Trends and Insights For Africa (TIFA) survey predicts that Jubilee party would get 71 percent of the votes while Chama Cha Mashinani was at second place with 15%.Despite the fact that the opposition coalition, NASA, had landed in Bomet County earlier in the year, it will get only 6% of the votes. Both KANU and Maendelo Chap Chap had 1%. 4 percent did not feel close to any of the political parties.Rutto likely to be re-electedHowever, if the elections were called today, governor Rutto who quit Jubilee and form his own party, Chama Cha Mashinani, would retain his seat.
