Kisauni MP Rashid Bedzimba has accused the Jubilee Coalition of plotting to divide Coastal leaders. The MP claimed the move was aimed at preventing leaders whose political career looked bright from attaining a national outlook. The move poses a big challenge to them (Jubilee) so they have devised ways of bringing down the governor by using leaders from within Mombasa,” said the MP. Bedzimba accused Jubilee of sabotaging Coast leaders' quest to rise to the national level. Senator Omar who is a critic of Joho's administration has publicly declared interest to vie for governorship in the 2017 polls.
