Jubilee Party has ordered a crisis meeting aimed at saving the ruling party from collapse after the Kiambaa by-election loss. In the recently concluded Kiambaa by-election, Jubilee Party candidate Kariri Njama lost to UDA's John Wanjiku on Friday, July 16, 2021. After the loss, some lawmakers in the party blamed it on the leadership of the ruling party including Secretary-General Raphael Tuju and Vice Chairman David Murathe. Additionally, Garissa Town MP Aden Duale stated Jubilee Party has serious structural problems. He claimed that the key organs of the Jubilee Party ceased to function.
