In Kisumu, Jubilee Party’s senate aspirant Winston Ochor Ayoki was turned away for being a registered Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) member. Kisumu County Returning Officer John Lorionokou directed him to clear with the Registrar of Political Parties by tomorrow. Others cleared were Nyando MP Fred Outa (ODM) and Ms Millicent Abudha (Ford-Kenya) for the Kisumu senate race and Vihiga Senator George Khaniri, who will defend his seat. Presenting their papers today for the Kisii senate seat will be Prof Sam Ongeri (ODM), Mr Charles Nyachae (Jubilee), Omingo Magara (PDP), Kennedy Momanyi (Labour) and Vincent Gekone (PEP).
