Juba League information Secretary Selim Khan was detained with a pistol on Friday by the Airport Police station, when hundreds of Awami League supporters gathered near the airport to welcome the prime minister back home. Airport police OC Noor-e-Azam said that he was released late on Friday, but had not been given back the firearm. “He had a license to carry the pistol, so we released him around midnight, after he signed a bond. We have, however, confiscated the pistol,”The police officer said a complaint was filed and they will return the firearm once it's clear why he was carrying it.
