Manchester United veteran Juan Mata felt Anthony Martial deserved praise for his performance on Thursday night, as the Red Devils mounted a comeback to draw 1-1 against Club Brugge in the first leg of their Europa League last-32 match. United were behind after just 15 minutes when a long ball found Brugge striker Emmanuel Dennis, who then proceeded to cooly lob United keeper, Sergio Romero, who found himself in no-man's land. Martial beat the centre-back to the ball and then used his pace to position himself to roll the ball past Brugge keeper Simon Mignolet. After the game Mata insisted that Martial is exactly the person you want to be in that one-on-one situation.
