LALMONIRHAT, Sept 17, 2023 (BSS) - A local journalist was killed as a truckcrushed his motorcycle in Aditmari upazila of the district last night. The deceased was identified as Yunus Ali, district correspondent of DailySwadesh Pratidin, hailed from Poshchim Basegram village in Hatibandhaupazila. Local people said the accident occurred around 8:30 pm last night in PalliBidyut area on Patgram-Lalmonirhat Highway. Yunus Ali died on the spot. Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Aditmari Thana Mozammel Haque confirmed theincident.
