The decision was made by Chamber Judge Justice Hasan Foez Siddique on Tuesday in response to a petition by the state. The chamber judge heard the petition and blocked bail for two months, he said. The High Court bench of AKM Asaduzzaman and Razik-Al-Jalil had granted bail to expelled Shahjadpur Awami League leader Nasir on Apr 13. According to media reports, two shotguns belonging to Mayor Miru were discharged. Shimul’s wife, Nurunnahar Begum, filed a murder case accusing the mayor and 17 others.
