Earlier, the body of Shafiul reached the Kurigram Central Shaheed Minar from Dhaka in the morning where people from all walks of life flocked to pay their respects to Shafiul. Shafiul Alam Raza, 50, the chief correspondent for online news portal Priyo.com was found dead at his Pallabi residence on Sunday afternoon. He was also popularly known as a Bhawaiya singer, having sung on Bangladesh Betar and Bangladesh Television on multiple occasions.
