Cox’s Bazar district judge Mahmudul Hasan granted Farid the latest bail on Thursday evening, confirmed Abdul Mannan, prime lawyer for the plaintiff. Farid was arrested on September 19 last year from the capital and framed as a drug dealer and had been in Cox’s Bazar jail since then, family sources said. The then Teknaf officer-in-charge Pradeep Kumar Das initiated the cases against him. Sinha was killed in police firing on Cox’s Bazar –Teknaf marine drive on July 31.
