Statehouse advisor Joshua Kutuny has praised Deputy President William Ruto for taking personal charge of Jubilee Party activities at the party headquarters to ensure the nomination exercise went on smoothly. "I want to commend the Deputy President for taking charge and foreseeing free and fair party primaries, the move has strengthened the Jubilee Party," said Kutuny. The Former lawmaker who won the Jubilee party ticket by trouncing the incumbent MP Wesley Korir, at the same time dismissed claims of a split among Jubilee leaders in the North Rift region. He said the claims that he is part of a new political axis in the region were not only imaginary but meant to create differences among leaders from the North Rift region. He also thanked Cherangany residents for nominating him to fly the Jubilee Party flag in the August 8th General Elections and vowed to bring all communities together in the cosmopolitan constituency.
